I am an avid reader and read most book genres, but aliens have never really been my thing, on the page or on screen. However, I do love me a nice book on surviving attacks from any kind of supernatural beings. Monday Survival Guide by J.H. Glaze was exactly the type of thing I enjoy reading, even with the aliens!

I don’t do spoilers and I always find it hard to write a review without giving anything away. But, this story throws you right into the action from the very beginning. With people being swept up left and right by tentacles from a giant alien ship. Two brothers try to escape the impending abduction, one of them desperate to get to his wife and son. Their group becomes a little bigger when they are joined by a few others along the way.

What would you do if an EMP caused everything around you to be useless. In an world which has become dependent on these devices, many would suffer. Would you go for food first? Weapons? Transportation?

Or would you do nothing, would you cower and wait helplessly for whatever lies ahead?

Those questions are reason I like stories about surviving apocalyptic type situations. I like seeing how people would react, how each person grows, and what a person can really do when a situation calls for it.

J.H. Glaze never lets me down. Each of this authors books takes you on an exciting ride and the words stay with you long after you have turned the last page.

Read Monday Survival Guide and find out for yourself!

J.H. Glaze is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of people in his 4 novels, 2 short story collections, and 4 novellas. While he writes mostly Horror/Thrillers, they are the kinds of stories that are rather unexpected for the genre. Why is that?

He has a thoughtful style that plays on the emotions of the reader in a way that can generate a creep factor without an overwhelming amount of gore that might make them projectile vomit on their Kindle. His craft of compelling plot lines can keep you turning pages until the wee hours of the morning.

It is no wonder that fans of Glaze have read most of his work. His storytelling method often provides comic relief from the totally hopeless situations his characters may find themselves in. H

is latest work, Monday Survival Guide is an example of this. As you follow a handful of people on their search for a safe place during an alien invasion, you will be cheering for them and holding your breath as you fly through the pages toward the thrilling finale.
